Needing One Another

“Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.”

Galatians 6:1 NLT

There is a tendency to laugh at someone who has gone into misfortune due to a mistake or or due to circumstances beyond that persons control.  We need to however ‘put on the shoes’ of this person being laughed at.  We need to imagine ourselves in the same place and ask ourselves how it would feel to be in such position.

Instead of making fun of someone else in a misfortune, we need to encourage such a person and build that person up. We should be a source of strength to others. Show love to others, encourage and build one another up. In so doing, we are planting good seeds that will yield good fruits to us and our generation.
